Childhood memories are always elusive—like fragmented images drifting through the mind, half-reality and half-fantasy, at once a tender treasure hidden in the heart and the hardest traces to grasp. Japanese emerging artist Shimon Kamada, currently based in the Netherlands, is set to hold his first solo exhibition, “Phantom(’s) Presence”, at PODIUM Gallery, Hong Kong.
