Biography
Kai Yoda (b. 1985 in Tokyo, lives and works in Paris) lives and works in Paris. A visual artist and graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, his practice explores the boundaries between human creation and algorithmic processes. He develops a hybrid pictorial approach that weaves together hand drawing, historical iconography, photography, and artificial intelligence. His recent solo exhibitions include Galerie Poggi, Paris (2026), ROH Projects, Jakarta (2025), Galerie Foreign & Domestic, New York (2022), Double Séjour, Poush Manifesto, Paris (2021), Rupert at Apiece, Vilnius (2021), La Petite Galerie, Cite International des Arts, Paris (2020), among others.
