Biography

Virginie Ittah (b. 1984 in Paris, lives and works in Paris) is a French artist living and working in Paris. Her multidisciplinary practice – encompassing painting, sculpture, sound, and olfaction – follows a transversal approach that connects different disciplines, geographic contexts, and temporalities. She produces her pigments from stones, soils and plants collected during her residencies, affirming a deep ecological commitment while integrating tools such as 3D modelling and photogrammetry. Within this practice, abstraction becomes a language to reveal the invisible: emotions, elemental forces, vital energies and relationships of interdependence that traverse the living world.
